This years show had an increase in entrants over last year, but a lower number of entries. The wine class entries were thin on the ground, and the children's classes were under represented. The result of the auction at the harvest festival on the Sunday was excellent , raising £500. Thanks for that are due to Horbury working mens club and the tremendous performance of our auctioneer.

As president Mr. John Walsh announces the entertainment, Secretary Mr John (Flatly) Leeming mentally prepares to thrill the audience with his rendition of Riverdance.

John is just a blur as he gets up to full speed, but Mrs. Miller has found something more interesting to do.
