The Association was established in the year 1929, (under the name of Horbury Allotment Society) for the purpose of promoting the cultivation and exhibiting of plants, fruit and vegetables.
Contrary to public perception this is not just an association which caters for allotment owners, but, to quote a paragraph from the “Rules of Association”:-
[i]Any person having an allotment or garden, irrespective of where such person resides, shall be eligible for membership of the Association.
An annual membership fee of £4, or £2.50 for those aged 65 and over, gives you access to our comprehensive list of gardening products (see product list) with savings on normal retail price.
We look forward to meeting you soon.
